The main purpose of the Veterans Service Office is to be an advocate for the veteran and his/her dependents.
Secondly, we assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining any and all veteran’s benefits they are entitled to. Benefits available, but not limited to, are: non service-connected pension, widow’s pension, service-connected compensation, educational benefits, hospital eligibility claims, and ordering of medal/ribbons entitled to. We also offer proof of military service, service medical records and any other military records requested.
We visit funeral homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities on an as needed basis.
Our database provides information on the Servicemen’s Readjustment Act where they can learn which programs will allow them to use their GI Bill resources effectively as well as education grants designed specifically for those who served our nation.
